DIGITAL MARKETING SALES POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Relationship Development: establish and strengthen relationships with client C-Level face-offs, business and technical buyers, and key project stakeholders.
  • Network with Industry Leaders, as well as business partners, Industry Vendors, Competitors, and participates in key industry forums.
  • Identify specific sales opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
  • Engage in activities focused at generating client awareness of the firm and/or demand for its Services (may include developing/sending promotional materials, presenting in business forums, charitable activities, business associations, etc.).
  • Construct and execute sales strategy and deal plan; including value proposition, win themes, tactics & action plan, relationship and communication plan and competitive analysis.
  • Review solution plans, cost models and written proposals as appropriate to ensure alignment with sales strategy.
  • Deal Closure: Lead team of professionals including technical, finance, legal, procurement, HR and proposal management through deal closure. Develop and maintain deal close plan, aligning proposition to client’s selection process, evaluation criteria and process. Understand the client’s organization and processes and manage all negotiations and closing activities accordingly.

  • Making outbound calls to businesses who will benefit from our products and services
  • Gaining interest from Decision Makers, and transferring them to the Business Developers to close
  • Researching businesses prior to calling them to build understanding of their business and assess the most suitable service for them
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

 

 

 

MEDIA EXECUTIVE SALES

  • Exceed sales goals by prospecting and selling print, digital and event advertising to a dedicated territory
  • Demonstrate a passion for news and lifestyle to key sales opportunities for advertising prospects
  • Effectively communicate with all decision-makers, gatekeepers and influencers ranging from senior management to junior media planners
  • Possess the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agency personnel
  • Prioritize sales opportunities through a detailed account planning process
  • Constant communication and collaboration with Axon Analytics corporate advertising sales and marketing team to maximize opportunities for Happenings Magazine and participation in multi-brand programs
  • Comprehensive understanding of direct and programmatic digital advertising landscape, from desktop and mobile media opportunities, to social media, to emerging trends in technology
  • Provide management with weekly sales updates and monthly financial progress reports
  • Frequent in-territory travel to client offices for meetings/presentations
  • Contact potential clients to describe advertising opportunities. This usually takes the form of cold calling over the telephone but may involve face to face contact at presentations, meetings and business lunches or dinners
  • Take part in internal training about how to handle phone calls and other job requirements
  • Contact existing clients to arrange the placement and design of advertisements they have agreed on and ensure an ongoing relationship
  • Research client needs and explain the benefits of buying advertising space, responding to any objections
  • Explain pricing costs to potential clients and negotiate a fee if necessary
  • Account manage an existing client to ensure their needs are satisfied and they are happy with the service
  • Work with production teams to ensure that agreed advertisements are carried in the right place and at the right time
  • Track purchases and keep record of sales, contacts and deals
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and conferences, meeting potential and existing clients
  • Work to maximize sales and meet targets

  • Use consultative sales approach to help inbound customers make purchasing decisions and upsell
  • Establish relationships with new and returning Habeebat customers through phone and email outreach and assist them with purchasing home products
  • Perform outbound follow-up sales calls and emails with past customers
  • Develop expertise regarding products available on Habeebat
  • Achieve personal objectives related to monthly sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and additional metrics as provided
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Habeebat customers
  • Respond to customer requests via telephone, email and online chat
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for contact
  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording and updating account information
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Maintain knowledge of products, prices, delivery times, promotions, and similar data, as required
  • Assist with placement of orders, returns, exchanges and refunds
  • Managing the growth and maintenance of online retail sales
